i've decided to start a blog. reasons including:
-it's on my "big girl to-do list" {will be explained in next post}
-inspiration from blogs i have been secretly following
-friends & family
-accountability
-fun :)
i've been hesitant to start a blog because i feel there is so much pressure involved in blogging! Pressure to come up with clever titles & witty labels; interesting subject matter & beautiful pictures to share. I know this blog is ultimately for me, but what can i say, i'm a people pleaser. i want this blog to be more than just a recap of what i did that day {watching paint dry would be more entertaining} hopefully this blog will motivate me to get out there and experience life, if only so i can blog about it :) until i have found my niche, i will have to settle for daily thoughts and ramblings.
i also want this blog {and those that choose to follow it} to be a sort of accountablility partner for me. i'm kind of in a limbo stage of my life.. just graduated college but not quite in the real world yet. i've found that if i put something in writing, i am more likely to accomplish it. my next post will explain my thought process more.
this blog will be a work in progress for some time, in terms of content & layout, as i am clueless when it comes to html & all that jazz. {i used to be pretty good at it back in the myspace days, but obviously, that ship sailed long ago}
i have high hopes for this blog :) i hope you will stick around and watch it grow and develop.
